The resource I mentioned in the video:
Video marketing is an excellent way to drive traffic, generate leads and sales. The kind of information I’m about to share with you is something I wish I had 2 years ago when I first started my channel and began uploading videos.
I was just creating videos. Those videos didn’t generate traffic, leads or sales. Now, I’m able to rank my videos on Google’s first page & YouTube’s first page.
Imagine what that would do for your business and bank account? Explode it right?
To get your videos to show up in search, you need to first understand what Google is looking for. They are looking for:
Engagement means several things. You need to get views where people stick around for longer than 1 or 2 minutes. You need to get likes, comments, new subscribers, and favorites.
Popularity is just my way of saying that you need to build backlinks to your videos. You can accomplish this in several ways. You can submit your video to other video sharing sites and backlink to the original video. You can get links from wiki, social media sites, web 2.0 sites, PDF sharing sites, and social bookmarking sites.
Each backlink is viewed as a popular kid would be. A popular kid has lots of friends, whereas the ‘losers’ have no friends. This is just Google’s way of seeing your video as being good or ‘popular’.
You have to understand that their whole goal is to provide the best searching experience possible for its users. It doesn’t do them any good to rank poor content, as it affects your search experience.
As I mentioned in the video, I’ve provided an additional resource for you. This resource will show you how to rank your videos on YouTube & Google and outrank your competitors.
